Question: Can you give me the scripture where is says
that there is nothing new under the sun and God will
give us a way out with our problems?
Answer: You can find it in (I Corinthians 10:13),
and what it is saying; is that there is no
temptation that will come upon you that is new to
man, and that you cannot handle. When temptation
comes, God will always give you a way out, if you
listen to and trust in Him.
Question: Where in the Old Testament does it
mention the two advents?
Answer: Rejoice
greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of
Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is
just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon
an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
(Zechariah 9:9). This is the first advent.
And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the
horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be
cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen:
and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and
from the river even to the ends of the earth.
(Zechariah 9:10). This would be the second
advent when Christ returns on the white horse.
(Revelation 19:11).
Question: What scripture does it say that Christ
is the only one who can kill the soul?
Answer: And fear not
them which kill the body, but are not able to kill
the soul: but rather fear him which is able to
destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28).
Don't fear man or Satan; fear the one who can
both destroy your body and soul. That would be
Christ!
Question: Could you explain (II Timothy 3:16)?
Answer: It means that the whole bible was given
to us by the inspiration of God. It is to teach us
what is true and to realize what is wrong in our
lives. When we need correction, it straightens us
out; that is what God gave us this instruction book
for.
Question: Where does it say in the bible that we
can fall from salvation and that the old saying
"once saved always saved" is not true.
Answer: You can find it in (Hebrews 6:4-6). What
it is saying, is that after you have been saved by
Christ, have known the truth and the power that goes
with the Word, having tasted all the good things of
the Holy Spirit; then you turn against God and
reject Him. You cannot bring yourself to repent, if
you have nailed the Son of God to the cross again by
rejecting Him.
Question: Where can I find the two churches that
Christ approved of?
Answer: They are the church of Smyrna
(Revelations 2:8), and the church of Philadelphia
(Revelations 3:7), and Christ approved of them
because they knew what the "Key of David" was, and
they knew about the "Kenites."
Question: Who does the he refer to in II
Thessalonians 2:7, is it Satan?
Answer: yes... It would be better translated as
"What this man of rebellion will do when he comes.
Speaking of Satan when he is kicked out of heaven by
Michael. Satan's evil spirit is already at work
here, and will continue till he comes in person.
Question: Can you tell me where Satan is spoken
of as the King of Tyrus?
Answer: In the book of Ezekiel 28:12-19 it speaks
of the prince of tyrus. In Hebrew Tyrus means a rock
(tsor), or a place in Palestine. The rock is
referring to Satan, but he is not our rock. Many
believe this also applies to a human king of Tyre.
Question: If a Christian is married to an
unbeliever or believer of a different faith should
they remain married or divorce?
Answer: Read (I Corinthians 7:12-16), and you
will find your answer. Never let differences of
faith come between a marriage. God works in
mysterious ways, and you never know when someone
will come to the truth and the light. You also may
have children to consider in this matter.
Question: There is a scripture in the bible that
says we should marry rather than burn in hell. Can
you tell me what scripture it is and what it means?
Answer: When the apostle Paul was addressing the
Corinthians he explained that it was good for the
unmarried and widows to abide as he did, as an
unmarried single. But, if one could not contain
themselves, it would be better to marry than to burn
in hell. (I Corinthians 7:7-9). In other words, if
you can be single and not whore around, this would
be better to serve the Lord. But, if you cannot keep
yourself from such actions, it would be better for
you to marry than continue to commit sexual sin. It
appears that there are still those in the religious
system who think they can stay single and still
commit acts of perversion. You know who they are!
Question: Where can I find scripture that says
God will avenge all those who deserve it, or will
take care of unsolved murders?
Answer: Dearly
beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give
place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is
mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. (Romans 12:19).
There are no unsolved murders or crimes that
hurt others. Our Heavenly Father will take care of
them at His will. But they will be taken care of.
Question: Can you give me scripture that shows
that Christ preached to the souls in hell after His
crucifixion?
Answer: You will find it in the book of Peter
when He went and preached to the spirits in prison
while He was three days in the tomb. He preached to
those who were on the wrong side of the gulf.
For Christ also hath
once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust,
that he might bring us to God, being put to death in
the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which
also he went and preached unto the spirits in
prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once
the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah,
while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is,
eight souls were saved by water. (I Peter 3:18-20).
Question: In I John 2:16 it talks about things of
the world. I know that we are not to love things of
the world, but is it of the world to be proud of
someone? It says that pride is of the world, but
isn't God proud of us when we do good?
Answer: I know where your coming from so lets
take a look at the scripture. For
all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and
the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not
of the Father, but is of the world. (I John 2:16).
Remember that Satan's biggest downfall was
self-pride and here we are also speaking of
self-pride or the pride of life. The "pride" that
comes from wealth, power and importance; these are
not from God, but rather from this evil world
itself. You know the type... Those who are so proud
of themselves and their accomplishments such as
wealth, fame, power or think that they are something
special because of a title. We are not talking here
about being proud of someone for doing a good thing.
Question: What scripture describes that there is
a gulf that separates the good from the bad in
heaven.
Answer: You will find it in the New Testament
Gospel of Luke. The rich man and Lazarus. (Luke
16:26).
Question: Can you explain (Luke
16:19).
Answer: It means that if you are
crooked in small matters, that you will be crooked
in larger matters also, or even in everything you
do. Whether it be about money, the Word, in
business, a relationship, etc. |
